ah christmas, that time of year that will drive you crazy. i thought i was about to snap with all the christmas music at work. im glad to have a vacation that is for sure. my parents picked me up sat and we went to a christmas party that night. about 19 people counting my self and i only knew 5 and they were the people i came there with. watched two pool matches, ate some decent food, and chinese christmas. where they put numbers in a bowl, people draw them out, and get a random gift when there number was called. the trick is that if someone with a higher likes the gift that the person with the lower has they can choose to take that gift and the lower has to get another one. there were 17 numbers cause there were 2 kids that were too young to play. i got lucky number 17. my dad ended up opening a lot of presents cause people kept wanting his. he ended up getting a gag gift which was a rubber chicken and a toy sumo, which he got to pick another gift. we ended up with a cd player, a small chest, and a mug that can be plugged in to keep coffee warm. after spending the night at my aunts and uncles we had the long trip home, the back of an extra cab pickup is not a very comfortable place to be for 4 or more hours. christmas day was nice, didnt have many people and plenty of delicious food. i have already had some guilt and pity put on me, rather my parents meant to or not. they may just want me to appreciate what they are doing for me, in which i do. its good to see them and spend time with them, but i am ready to get back to atl. just as i suspected, i cant work on maya at home. i want to get back and start hunting... though i know its going to be tough, with work and school stuff, but i want to follow my bliss. i believe i will find my bliss that way for i dont seem to find it any other way, besides hanging out with friends. i know relationships can cause more problems but i feel as though this is what i want. so wish me luck. looking forward to seeing everybody when i get back. happy holidays!
oh yes, guess what? there is a theory that orange juice is to blame for my brooken out face. this makes me rather sad for i do enjoy orange juice and i believe it has served me well in keeping me from getting sick so far. i am going to test the theory and see if the crap on my face goes away. i guess ill just drink it when and if i get sick... which wont happen. |

im reading this great book called the power of myth. it spoke of how the bird represents spiritual flight and the snake represents being bound to earth. put them together and you have a dragon or a snake with wings. in most cases both of these are seen to be great creatures, except for in the european states. i just find it interesting.

i had a theory, i tested it, and was correct. he is suffering from a similar torment. he cares for someone that dosent return his feelings. some how this solidified the fact that i must let him go. i feel at ease right now, i can only hope it stays like this. |

me and jeff (the coworker ive been talking about) were working at petsmart, we were working the night shift for some reason or other. when it was done i stated that hes probably going to want to go straight to sleep when he gets home and he said that he wasnt. so im like cool, lets hang out then. and he said sure. we went outside and petsmart was in a different plaza, which seemed normal in the dream. there were some unknown shops and a ihop, there was also a lake with other stores on the other side. Sara, a really good friend of his, came up to him as we were walking away from petsmart. i decided to walk a head a little and let them talk. i went to the ihop and turned around and they were arguing. she started walking on the water to the other side of the lake. something caught my eye at the water beside me. i looked and it was light coming off of the water and formed a cobra. it stood up and struck at me and said, "im gonna scare ya." then went back into the water and i woke up. |

so if ya dont know, ive been hanging out with the coworker that ive been talking about for a month now and it didnt seem like any progress was being made. he wasnt returning the affection i was giving. so i asked him what we were, i had to know to ease my mind. he said he didnt know, that he didnt have a definition for anything at the moment that he just had people to have fun with. how torturing. my room mate commented that maybe hes not looking for a relationship, which is very possible. *sigh* god im bummed. |

so i got to take a guy out, the co worker ive been talking about just in case your wandering. we went to a chicago style pizza place and ate a deep dish, it was delicious. now im at a tough spot. im in a cross road i guess you can say. ive decided to wait on him, to see if he will return the date. not just that but im waiting for his invitation as opposed to asking to go over. just trying to find out if he has interest for me. so i wait, i feel impatient and just a bit worried. if he dosent return the interest i will have to work on removing my interest from him. this is one of the consequences of liking a co worker, im gonna be seeing him a lot at work and that wont help. i have to wait.. i think that is whats getting me the most. i dont know how long to give him and i would like to know if he is interested or not so i know rather i need to get rid of the interest or let it grow. *sigh* i hope he dosnt take long, its looking like a rough couple of days if not week... |
